HPQ is to announce Q4 dividend of $0.12

Hewlett-Packard Company is scheduled to issue a quarterly dividend on January 27th. Shareholders of record on March 9th will be given a 0.124 per share dividend by the company on April 6th. It suggests an annual dividend of a $0.50, along with a 4.54% yield. The ex-dividend date is settled on March 7th.  

Many analysts currently weigh in on the HPQ stocks. Deutsche Bank reissued a rating of “buy” on November 8th. JPMorgan Chase & Co. reaffirmed a rating of “neutral” on January 13th. Zacks Investment Research downgraded a rating from “hold” into a “strong sell” on November 6th. Raymond James reassigned a rating of “hold” on January 4th. Lastly, Monness Crespi & Hardt lowered their target price from $16.00 to $12.00 and assigned a rating of “buy” on February 16th. 


Twenty analysts of which gave a rating of hold on the stock, twelve have issued a rating of buy, and one set a rating of strong buy. The average rating of the company settled at “Hold”, along with an average target price of $20.87.

Company shares of HPQ traded at 10.93 during Wednesday session. The market cap of the firm stands at $19.58 billion, along with a 4.41 price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio. It posted a 50-day moving average of $9.99, and registered a 200-day moving average of $11.89. Meanwhile, it posted a 12-month low and high of $8.91 and $16.17 respectively. 

HPQ recently issued its earnings for the quarter on February 24th. It posted a quarterly earnings per share (EPS) of $0.36, missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.36 by $0.00. Amid the same quarter last year, it has earned an EPS of $0.92. It posted a quarterly revenue of $12.20 million, compared to the analysts’ estimate of $13.90 million. Its revenue for the quarter decline about 11.6%, compared to the same quarter in the prior year. Analysts are expecting the company to post an EPS of $1.59 for the current fiscal year.
